Refund policy

Returns / Exchanges / Restocking Fees

Returns will be accepted up to 14 days from date of purchase and are charged up to a 15% restocking fee.

Paper, Ink, and Film

We don't accept returns of these items as we cannot guarantee the condition of film, photo paper, and chemistry once it has left our store. We don't accept returns of opened printer paper, ink, or film.

Defective Items

Defective items may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase. No fees will be charged for defective items.

Used Gear

All used gear is final sale unless mechanical or optical problems are discovered by the customer. The period of time for return of used items with defective issues is 14 days.

Cash Returns

In person cash refunds over $100 will be tendered as a business check. Please note that refund checks may take 1-2 business days to process.

Preorders and out of stock items

How does this work?

We take payment in full for all items. We then reserve the item with our vendors and ensure that you receive your order in best possible speed. 

What is a pre-order?

A preorder is an item that has been announced by a manufacturer, but will not be available to the public until the release date.

What is a special order?

Any product labeled “Special Order” on our website is a special order. We do no routinely carry stock on these products and will place an order for it on your behalf.

What is a backorder?

Backordered items are products that we've already placed an order for with our vendors, but have not arrived at our location yet. Your order ensures that we will reserve product for you, before making it available without reservation to others.

When can I expect my items?

Please keep in mind that because of the nature of the products we carry the time it takes to manufacture and ship them can stretch into months. This varies greatly by product and our customer service team is available to give you our best estimate before you order. 

How do I cancel my order?

You will need to contact our customer service team at sales@prophotosupply.com to request a cancellation. We're available during business hours via website chat as well, or by phone at 503.241.1112

What happens when I cancel my order?

Once we’ve received your cancellation request we will refund your original payment method, minus a 5% cancellation fee. If you have paid using a credit or debit card this refund may take 7 to 10 days to appear on your statement. It may take longer and your financial institution can help you inquire further.

Shipping Costs and Policy

Local Pickup

You may choose to buy online from our webstore and pickup at our retail location. You must bring your payment card and photo ID and present them when you arrive to pick up. For the 

We'll keep your order for up to 90 days in will call after you've paid for it. If we haven't heard from you in that time we'll return it to stock and refund your order less a restocking fee of 5%. 

There is no fee associated with local pickup.

Services We Use

We ship all items USPS Priority. The costs of shipping depend on the weight and size of the items you've purchased. The cost of shipment is collected at the time of your order.

Warranties

Most merchandise comes with a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer. All merchandise is sold as is without warranty. We make no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Contact the manufacturer and refer to the warranty included with the merchandise in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. A copy of the applicable warranty is available upon request.
